Jennifer Steneberg will  provide an overview of the limited conservatorship process and address the most common questions asked by families who are planning for the future of a family member with an intellectual or developmental disability. The presentation will include information about possible methods of retaining legal decision making authority for an adult disabled child without formal conservatorship, and the role of Regional Center in decision-making.

Sponsored by Special Education Enrichment and Development Foundation of Lafayette (SEED), a non-profit organization supporting children with special needs and their families.  The workshop will be held in Lafayette on November 14 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
